WestWater have recently completed the supply and installation of two (2) replacement sludge thickener feed pumps within the backwash holding tank at Samson Brook Water Treatment Plant, in the Peel Region of Western Australia.
During a routine assessment of the site carried out by the Water Corporation in 2021, it was found that the existing submersible pumps feeding the backwash thickener tank were in poor condition and required replacement.
For this project, WestWater have removed the existing submersible pumps on site, and replaced them with two (2) new submersible pumps, along with a new throttling valve. We have also relocated the existing discharge magflow, and updated the Water Corporation’s SCADA system.
