WestWater have recently completed the design, construction and installation of instrumentation cubicles at 11 bore sites within the Water Corporation’s Twilight borefield, located near Esperance, Western Australia.
The project scope involved implementing online monitoring of salinity trends for the bores within the Twilight borefield to mitigate long term environmental harm and not to elevate continuity of supply risks. The adverse salinity trends of the bores were a cause of concern to the Water Corporation and the Regulator, namely Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER).
WestWater have installed an instrumentation cubicle at each of the 11 nominated sites within the Twilight borefield, which house a Yokogawa Conductivity Analyser and are able to be monitored remotely by Water Corporation SCADA.
